COVID-19 IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
Practice Update Regarding Coronavirus As healthcare providers, we must take on additional responsibilities to keep our community safe and do our part to reduce transmission of the coronavirus. Presently, we plan to stay open and continue to treat our patients who count on us for pain relief and healthcare. To do so responsibly we will be adding more precautionary measures to our daily procedures, as well as, asking a few things of patients coming in to see us.
- We have instituted an increase in our cleaning frequency of all surfaces, as well as, the concentration of our cleaners in our offices.
- We are requiring all doctors to wear masks while in treatment rooms with patients.
- Doctors and staff are instructed to wash their hands immediately after touching patients and then sanitizing once again before any physical contact with their next patient.
- All of our staff have been notified not to come to work if they develop flu-like symptoms or fever. They are also required to notify management and stay home, in the event they learn of any direct exposure with any individual known to have tested positive for COVID-19.
- Our appointments have been spaced out and our onsite staff has been sent home(while still getting paid) to minimize traffic in the office.
- Temperatures of all incoming patients are being taken, and not allowed in if above normal.
- No guests will be allowed inside the office.
In addition to these safety measures, we are also asking our patients to do their part.
- Please sanitize before and after leaving one of our offices, using our dedicated sanitation station.
- In the event you learn about direct exposure or you become positive for COVID-19, please notify us immediately so that we can take appropriate action as needed. Further do not come in for treatment if you have developed a cough, fever, or flu-like symptoms.
- If you have returned from out of the country within the last two weeks, or traveled to an area known to have an outbreak of the COVID-19 virus within the last 2 weeks, we ask that you not come into the office.
This is by no way a comprehensive explanation of our efforts. We will be reevaluating our practices daily and updating procedures as indicated. Our number one priority is the health and well-being of the community and all of its members. Our promise to you is to monitor carefully the traffic in and out of both locations and take appropriate action should we learn about any exposure to our facilities, staff or patients. We are willing to take the actions necessary to stay true to this mission, no matter the cost.
Please be mindful of the CDC and WHO Guidelines and do not hesitate to call and schedule if you need.
Stay Vigilant, Dr. Bo and Everyone at Smart Pain Solutions
