Low back Pain with pregnancy
A 23 year-old woman presented to our office, 13 weeks pregnant, complaining of low back pain that began 1 week prior with no mechanism of injury. Low back pain was reported as “every day” and ranged from 2-9 out of 10 on a pain scale. The patient reported pain was causing her to limp and she could “barely stand” without significant pain. The patient was treated with myofascial massage and chiropractic adjustments at her initial visit. At her second visit, she reported significant improvement and said she could “stand and walk with out pain.” At her fourth visit, the patient reported low back pain had been completely resolved.
